About Alla

Alla Sagalov is a Russian born award-winning pianist, composer and educator.

Alla holds a Masters of Arts in Music from the world-renowned St. Petersburg Conservatory of Music, whose notable alumni include Pyotr Tchaikovsky and Dmitri Shostakovich, amongst others.

Alla started her career as a professional composer and song writer, having composed music for nationally renowned poets and written music for dozens of songs with other famous Israeli poets.

For the past thirty years, Alla has been teaching Piano Lessons and Music theory to students of all ages, including preparation for RCM examinations.

In addition to her successful private practice, Alla is an elementary school Music teacher for thirty years in some of the best private schools in Canada and Israel, including the Hebrew Reali School (Israel’s oldest private schools - over 107 years old!), the Leo Baeck Day School, and Bialik Hebrew Day School.
